Wrap F.A.Q.

Q: What is a vehicle wrap?
A: A vehicle wrap is a custom designed graphic thats digitally printed on special vinyl wrap and laminated. It is installed or "wrapped" on a vehicle (or whatever you would like wrapped), being applied directly to the surface after careful preparation by wrap installation professionals. Our installers are so precise it often gets confused for a custom paint job.

Q: How does wrap design work?
A: We work with you throughout the process to ensure that your message is conveyed in the design accurately and appropriately reflects that of the company, product or person. Final proofs, mockups and explanations are always reviewed prior to sending the job to print.

Q: How do you wrap a vehicle?
A: Our installers are put through a rigorous apprentice program before they are given the title of expert installer. Once they have reached this level, they are capable of handling the most intricate design wrap installations. The vinyl material is accurately laid out and applied to the vehicle - the actual process is extremely precise and requires a lot of experience..

Q: Where do you wrap the vehicle?
A: Our installation facility is located in North Austin off Wells Branch.

Q: Are car wraps applied to windows?
A: Yes, but only rear side and rear windows. Window wraps are printed on a special perforated vinyl that allows the driver to see through the rear and side rear windows. Always check local laws first.

Q: What if the company information on my wrap changes, can it be replaced?
A: Yes. Any part of the design can be changed, reprinted and re-installed as overlays on the car wrap at a fraction of the cost and pain it would be to change a billboard.

Q: Can I finance my wrap?
A: We currently do not offer any financing for vehicle wraps. Payment will be 50% prior to print, and 50% upon completion.

Q: Can a wrap be removed?
A: Absolutely! A great benefit of vehicle wraps is that when it comes time to change the design or sell the vehicle, you remove the wrap and move on to your next vehicle or design. We will say that attempting to remove it yourself can cause damage to your paint. Let our experts handle the removal.

Q: Will the wrap damage my paint?
A: Nope. When applied and removed correctly, vehicle wraps do not damage your car's OEM paint. In fact, it protects it from the elements, mainly, that blazing Texas sun.

Q: Can I wrap a leased vehicle?
A: If you bring it, we'll wrap it. Check your lease first, but most do not have restrictions on vehicle wraps.. Professional removal is probably a good idea on this one though when the time comes.

Q: How long will a wrap last?
A: Durability depends on care. You can expect your wrap to last 3 years or longer, as long as you take care of it. We've had customers with wraps over 5 years old!

Q: How do I care for my wrap?
A: It is best to hand wash your wrapped vehicle. In general, avoid power washing and never use an ice-scraper. The rear defroster will not cause damage to your window wrap.

Q: What's the difference between a ½, ¾, and full wrap?
A. A size of the wrap refers to the amount of the vehicle that is actually covered by the wrap.

Q: How long does it take to wrap a vehicle?
A: Our wraps are typically installed in 1-2 days depending on the size of the vehicle and intricacy of the wrap. Individual estimates are given to our customers prior to beginning the wrap design process.

Q: Do you wrap anything other than vehicles?
A: Absolutely! We can wrap trailers, boats, motorcycles, golf carts, walls, desks, computers, wakeboards, skateboards, car parts, doors, windows, displays, tool boxes, cieling fan blades, and just about anything else you can think of. We can even install a wrap on a concrete floor - whether it's inside or outdoors!
